I want to view all plain text email messages in a font like courier where each letter takes the same amount of space. (Computer generated reports are a mess to look at otherwise.) Anyone know how to change this setting in Office 2016?
Outlook 2011 uses default uses 14-point Calibri font for HTML messages and 12-point Consolas font for plain text messages. It is quiet fine for online reading. But it’s not a bad thing to modify it a little bit to make your client more personal and customized. Similarly, you can change the font for replying or forwarding messages, and for composing and reading plain text messages. Part 2: Change default font for email message list in Outlook 2016 You also can change the default font for the view of message list appearing between the Navigation Pane and Reading Pane.

The Personal Stationery tab of the following screen will allow you to set up different profiles for new mail messages, replies and forwarded emails, and plain text messages. Click the Font button to make changes to each profile.

Yea! Finally found it. Go to: File, Options, Mail, Signatures and Stationary, Composing and reading plain text messages, Font. Then select a font like Courier New. Now my computer generated reports look beautiful again! (Well, sort of. Kind of hard to get too poetic over plain text. :-)
